AMMAIA GOLF (MARVÂO) - DESCRIPTION
The course lies in the valley directly below the famous medieval village of Marvão. The area is part of a natural park reserve named "Serra de São Mamede" and lies on the border between Portugal and Spain.

The first of the eleven holes and last three are all on fairly level ground. The 12th and 15th are placed behind the Clubhouse in a very steep area. Hole 12 is 508 metres long and a par-5 and requires strong shots to reach the two-tiered green especially as the fairway it is demandingly steep. Hole 13 is a par-3 and is a comfortable 157 meters long. The green is long and slopes downwards towards a small lake on the left side requiring a strategic shot with two inviting bunkers to the front and the right of the green.
