When we played the course today it was a sub standard experience. Our handicaps are 7 and 23( junior) respectively.
On a good day I’m sure it will be classed as an “OK” course. They seemed to have hollow tyned the green which I can accept but they were very woolly and not really acceptable for putting. However, this doesn’t stop a bit more attention to detain on the Tee’s. It was like playing off a bit of not very good fairway.. Otherwise it was a good day out in the warm and wind. Would I recommend any reasonable golfer to play it, No. There are much better courses around.
It was a shame that the Golf shop didn’t inform us of the poor greens.

from United Kingdom Poor condition and too many obstacles The condition of the fairways was very poor, a lot of the time you were hitting the ball off hard ground. Too many obstacles (ditches, streams, lakes, sheer drops) to be enjoyable. Hole 9 water hazard is impossible for anyone who has a shorter drive. These things took away the pleasure of what could be a lovely course.

from Portugal A perfect golf day at Campo Real A wonderful but challenging golf course. Scenery around with hills and wine yards reminds a bit of Tuscany.
The greens are in perfect conditions and fairways in good shape.
Very friendly people at the reception as well the Pro will make your day to an unforgettable experience.
